Implant Fixture Removal Kit
Fixture Implant Removal Kit
The implant fixture removal kit is used for the removal of dental implants. A series of trephines and fixture removers are provided in the kit, allowing surgeons to remove virtually any implant. The trephines included are dimensioned to prevent excess bone loss. Fixture removers are used to back out implants by cross threading the remover with the implant. Both of these methods work but using the fixture removers is ideal because they reduce bone loss. This kit provides surgeons with the ability to remove any implant, making implant removal easy and predictable.
Implant Fixture Removers
Implant fixture removers are used for the removal of failed implants. The tapered body of the implant fixture removers engage with the screw threads of the implant, making the removal of the implants both easy and fast. Simply attach the fixture remover to a 4mm square ratchet and rotate the ratchet counter-clockwise to remove while applying pressure down towards the body of the implant. The fixture removers are available in three sizes depending on the size of the implant that needs to be removed. These fixture removers usually fuse to the implant, so generally they are single use.
