Automatic Tack Gun
The automatic tack gun is the most recent and innovative product to be produced for GBR procedures. It allows for the easy application of tacks both lingually as well as buccally. To activate the internal spring system of the tack gun, pull the plunger back on the back of the handle. You will hear a "click" when activated. Press the tip of the tack gun against the head of tack to retain the tack within the stem of the tack gun. Firmly press the stem of the tack gun against bone and press the top button. This will shoot the tack into bone. The curved design of the stem of the tack gun allows for access anywhere in the mouth, making the tack gun a universal applicator. This kit includes both the tack gun as well as 21 long tacks (4.5mm length, 2.5mm head). The tacks are stored in an easy-to-use organizer.
Kit Contents

- (21x) 4.5 or 3.5mm Bone Tacks
- Be fully aware of the anatomical structure of the implant site in order to minimize trauma
- Check the product for defects before use. If any defect is found do not use the product
- Instruments used for a surgical operation should be sterilized before their first use
- Since the product is non-sterile, it should be subjected to steam sterilization at 134° Celsius for 15 minutes
- Pull the rear handle and check if the button is raised
- Mount the tack by placing the tip of the tack gun against the head of a tack
- Move the tip of the tack gun to its mounting position and press the button to shoot the tack
- Repeat steps 1-3 as needed
- Rince with running water. Do not use oil
- Dry completely and sterilize for next use (Autoclave 134°C for 15 min)
