Bone Chip Maker Trephine Kit

The Autogenous Bone Chip Maker kit was designed to harvest autogenous bone with the use of specialized chip making trephines. Unlike traditional trephines, these bone chip trephines produce granulated autogenous bone instead of a solid core. A series of stoppers are provided which help prevent over drilling when harvesting bone. The bone chip trephines have a two-piece constructions and can be disassembled to retrieve the harvested bone. Unlike other bone harvesting trephines, the bone chip trephines do not collect bone within the stopper. Instead, bone is harvested within the body of the trephine, limiting bone loss during autogenous bone harvesting. The ease of use and efficiency of this kit makes it an essential addition to any bone grafting kit.
