Titanium PDL Proxivator Kit
Proxivators are a hybrid instrument which combine a periotome and an elevator. Proxivators sever the periodontal ligament while ejecting roots from the socket. Proxivators are designed to preserve bone structure and cause less trauma to patients. Proxivators work by severing the periodontal ligament while compressing the surrounding bone. The results is less pain, less bone loss, and less tissue damage. Unlike Luxation Periotomes, Proxivators can be used like elevators to eject root tips. Proxivators are usually the only instruments you will need for extractions, no other hand instruments like periotomes, Luxation Periotomes, or elevators are needed. A variety of tip designs are provided to tackle any extraction situation including 3rd molars.
