Premium Crestal and Lateral Sinus Lift Kit
The Premium Crestal and Lateral Sinus Lift Kit is used to perform both crestal and lateral sinus lifts. Specially designed burs prevent sinus membrane perforation, making sinus lifts faster and more predictable. The kit is separated in two sections, crestal and lateral. The crestal section includes a series of crestal reamers with dome shaped tips. These tips channel bone towards the tip of the reamer, creating a barrier between the cutting surface and the sinus membrane. The membrane can then be lifted using water pressure with the aqua expanders provided. The lateral section includes three reamers which help access the sinus membrane as well as expand the sinus osteotomy (details below). Both sets of lateral and crestal reamers include a series of stoppers which prevent drilling into the membrane. Four hand instruments are included to help lift the sinus membrane. This kit allows surgeons to perform successful sinus lifts easily with consistent results.

Instructions for Crestal Sinus Lift

Take a scan of the sinus to determine the distance to the sinus membrane

Select the appropriate stopper and connect it to the guide drill (SD-GD20)

Drill an osteotomy using the guide drill to the appropriate depth using a slow speed implant handpiece

Select the 2.3mm SD-Reamer (SD-RM23) and drill to depth at 800-1200rpm

Continue in the series of SD-Reamers until you achieve the desired osteotomy size

After the osteotomy is created, thread either a 3.0mm or 3.5mm Aqua Lift expander into the osteotomy

Using a syringe filled with sterile water and the silicon hose provided, apply pressure within the aqua expander to lift the membrane

Use the graft packer provided to graft inside of the sinus

Instructions for Lateral Sinus lift

Take a scan of the sinus to determine the distance to the sinus membrane.

Select the appropriate stopper and connect it to either the LACD or LASR ( the LACD creates a circular core, the LASR removes the window).

Step 3. If using the LACD, connect the bur to an implant handpiece and drill into the sinus wall at 1200rpm, this will create a boney window.

If using the LASR: drill into the sinus wall at 1200rpm, this bur will remove the window entirely.

The LASC has a diamond coated stem which can be used to expand the sinus window, drill at 800rpm and work the stem around the window to widen.

Step 6. Using the sinus instruments provided, lift the sinus membrane.
