GBR Master Screw and Tack Kit
The GBR Master Screw and Tack Kit is use for the fixation of grafts and barriers as well as for tenting procedures. The GBR master includes an abundance of screws and tacks, ensuring that clinicians are never left without the right size for the situation. A variety of applicators are included in the GBR Master kit, allowing tacks and screws to be placed anywhere in the mouth with ease. Tacks and screws are neatly organized in the cassette provided, making the selection of the correct screw or tack simple. The instrumentation provided in the GBR master kit allows clinicians to tackle more challenging cases, expanding the level of care for their patients.

Titanium Bone and Membrane Screws
Titanium bone screws are used for a variety of applications. The length and diameter of the screw will depend on the surgical indication. Titanium bone screws can be used for fixating block bone, mesh, and membranes. These screws prevent graft or membrane migration, making placement of grafts and barriers easy and predictable. The screws are made of grade 5 titanium which will not integrate with bone. The screws are color coded based on diameter. These screws are self-drilling and self-tapping and contain a press fit friction connection which prevent dropped screws. The screws come in a variety of lengths and diameters and have head sizes between 2.5-3.0mm.

Titanium Tenting Screws
Tenting screws are used to preserve space during GBR procedures to prevent resorption of grafting material. The 8mm head of the screws provide adequate surface area for tenting. The screws are only threaded at the bottom section of the screw, having a smooth shaft. Tenting screws are self-drilling and self-tapping and contain a press fit friction connection which prevent dropped screws.

Titanium Bone Tacks
Titanium bone tacks are used for the fixation of dental membranes and dressings. The tacks stabilize membranes which makes the placement process easier. The tacks are available in two different lengths (3.5mm, 4.5mm) and both have a head size of 2.5mm

Instrumentation
The GBR master kit is provided with a series of instruments that make any GBR surgery easy and intuitive. The GBR master kit includes a mallet, buccal tack applicator, lingual tack applicator, automatic tack gun, bone carrier, screw driver handle, hand screw driver shaft, latch screwdriver, and pilot drill.

Mallet
The mallet is used in conjunction with the buccal tack applicators to drive tacks into the buccal wall. The mallet has both a nylon and stainless-steel head.

Buccal Tack Applicator
The buccal tack applicator grabs and centers tacks for easy implantation. Simply press the tip of the applicator against the head of a tack and it will be retained within the handle. The tack can then be pressed into bone with the handle. A mallet may be used if dense bone is encountered.

Lingual Tack Applicator
The lingual tack applicators retains, and centers tacks easily for implantation into the lingual wall. Simply press the tip of the applicator against the head of a tack and it will be retained within the applicator. The weight connected to the shaft of the applicator is free moving and can be used to create momentum to drive tacks. It is important that the tip of the tack is firmly pressed against the bone before sliding the weight back and forth. Slide the weight towards you, and the tack will be driven into bone.

Automatic Tack Gun
The automatic tack gun is the most recent an innovative product to be produced for GBR procedures. It allows for the easy application of tacks both lingually as well as buccally. To activate the internal spring system of the tack gun, pull the plunger back on the back of the handle. You will hear a "click" when activated. Press the tip of the tack gun against the head of tack to retain the tack within the stem of the tack gun. Firmly press the stem of the tack gun against bone and press the top button. This will shoot the tack into bone. The curved design of the stem of the tack gun allows for access anywhere in the mouth, making the tack gun a universal applicator.

Bone Carrier
The bone carrier functions very similarly to an amalgam carrier. Press the tip of the bone carrier against graft granules to secure the particulate within the tips of the instrument. The lever can be pressed to extrude the bone once it is in position.

Screwdriver Handle & Hand Screw Driver Shaft
The screw driver handle is used in conjunction with the hand screw driver shaft to fixate titanium screws. The shaft of the driver slides into the handle and clicks into place. The handle consists of two sections that move independently, making single hand operation possible. The driver shaft uses a Philips press fit connection that easily and effectively grabs and retains screws. The friction fit of the driver prevents drop screws.

Latch Driver
The latch driver is used to fixate bone screws using a slow speed implant handpiece. The head of the driver is a Philips connection which engage bone screws using friction.

Pilot Drill
Included with the kit is a 1.0mm pilot drill. This drill can be used with any slow speed implant handpiece. When D1 dense cortical bone is encountered, very rarely you may need the pilot drill. In most instances a pilot drill is not needed.

Cassette
All of the components of the kit are housed within the kit cassettes. The instrumentation rests below the screw and tack tray. This makes sterilization easy and ensures that you do not lose any components.
